The sequel, Shadow of War, however, felt like a cut and paste copy with little to no soul that the original had. It was. Shadow of Mordor is 10/10 though and definitely worth getting if you're a Lotr fan.
I disagree. Shadow of Mordor's combat was pathetically easy. While it was fun to have extended brawls with a small group of 8 orcs, you're almost never in any danger throughout the course of the game. Each orc took a little longer to die. Shadow of Mordor was much slower paced, while Shadow of War is actually trying to, uh, challenge you.

There are two pretty big areas in SOM, with lots of side activities and places to explore. SOW has slightly smaller maps, but has 5 of them (6 with DLC). Hopes for a sequel to Shadow of War. It's unlikely that we're getting a proper sequel to Shadow of War any time soon (Love there to be a update to fix some of the more game breaking bugs though like the Garrison ones) But that doesn't mean we shouldn't theorized or at least talk about ideas that we like to see for a sequel.
